Wow! That view ! Once we opened the drapes and gazed out at that beautiful view with the lovely trees and mountain backdrop, this is the essence of Zeehan, and we could of just gazed at it all day. The room provided all the necessities for a comfortable overnight stay including several little toiletries and the meal we ordered from the Bistro/Restaurant was delicious and plentiful. We once again enjoyed our stay.

We stayed one night at the Heemskirk and were surprisingly upgraded to a Queen room which had every comfort we needed for an overnight stay including complimentary shampoos, soaps and even a mini.grooming sachet with a emergency sewing kit ! The dinner we ordered was tasty reasonably priced with good size servings and breakfast in the bistro section was delicious. Quiet and scenic place for a enjoyable stay. Would certainly stay again.

It's basic unpretentious accommodation on the west side of Tasmania. Great to have as a base to explore the wilds. Special call out to Ashley who was super attentive and accommodating during our stay, resolving any issues with a smile.

Great location, quiet, private, next to the IGA, on the main road, beautiful view and sunset out the back wall which was all window. The room staff and maintenance staff were fantastic, so efficient and caring and interested in making our stay so welcoming we want to stay there next trip. Good restaurant and obliging, friendly staff.

Good location in Zeehan, heaps of parking. Room was well set up and they offered room service from their restaurant which was good (satay pizza was very good).

Friendly, welcoming staff with good, clear directions about room location and parking. After staying in little country town hotels (each excellent in their own way) walking into a large room with ensuite seemed like walking into heaven. Great views from large window. Restaurant was cheerful and served delicious meals. Try the battered scallops, yum.

Everything is available on site. A comfy, spotless quiet room, a restaurant with great food available for all meals. I would class it more like a small club as it has bars, gaming rooms and a bottle shop. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The iga is right next door which is a bonus.

The rooms were clean and the hotel had a restaurant attached which was handy as it is hard to find a place to eat in Zeehan. It was only 3km from Zeehan Parkrun which is why we were there.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It has undergone a full makeover and the rooms and beds are way better than in the past. Meals were good size and good value. Due to a change of plans during our stay we had to depart a day earlier and they refunded the extra day without any qualms for which we were grateful.

The lady at reception and the bistro staff were all super friendly and helpful, could not fault them. The bistro meals were really tasty and generous portions. The room was clean, quiet, well equipped, and comfortable.
